Had always wanted to learn how to play gin rummy, so got this on a whim. Great decision...I cant put it down. Beautiful layout. Easy to learn. I bought the pro version....great deal. I highly recommend this app.

Ive played this game hundreds of times in "Expert" mode and Ive won 59% of them. Its a fun and challenging game. However, it has one annoying bug. Sometimes, when I discard a card, the game picks it up, discards a different card, and knocks. Nothing wrong with that per se, except that the card I discarded, and that the game picked up, does not appear in the cards that the game displays as it knocks. Nor is it the card that the game discards as it knocks. In other words, the card that I discarded just mysteriously vanishes. I find this bothersome because it takes away from the realism of the gaming experience. Other than that, this is an entertaining and fast-paced game!

Graphics are great... The game itself is frustratingly predictable. The algorithm always causes the AI to go for the lowest cards. I cannot tell you how many times I have lost a hand to three of a kind 2s, 3s, and 4s: meld makes no difference in the score, only the remaining knock cards. As such, theres no strategy other than getting the high value cards out of your hand. Boring.

Great game. I beat the computer on the hardest setting, which I like . Plus I always get the undercut bonus. I enjoy playing this game very much. Thank you.

Liked the free game and upgraded to get more difficulty; however, EVERY time I start it, I am told I have to upgrade to get Pro features. If I am online, it goes to store and when I say get it starts working. But if I am on a plane or offline, SOL. Ruins the experience and makes me sorry i paid.

This is the best Gin Rummy game I have found on iOS. The controls are accurate and intuitive and the gameplay is smooth. My only 2 critiques: The deck shuffle animation seems too drawn out and time consuming. The AI on hard mode is totally rigged. You are not playing a more skilled opponent on hard mode - you are playing against an opponent that has a rigged hand/deck. That means the only strategy is to dump all your highest cards and hope you get lucky.

I read many reviews how this Gin Rummy game was rigged and cheated. I have not seen it. Played the free version for several weeks and once satisfied amongst other things, that it did not interfere with my music or audio listening, I purchased. Won my first 4-games, 2 in Expert Mode. I have tried a half dozen other Gin games and this is the best so far.

Need to be able to withdraw a card if accidently thrown away and to be able to make own arrangement within hand.

Its a good way to relax if you like to go slow and easy or fast and competitive.

The game would be great if it were 100% random as far as the cards that you get. The only difference between the medium and hard levels IS how many times it lets you win
